Kankakee Sheriff's Office Releases Recruitment Video
The Kankakee County Sheriff's Office released a recruitment video to YouTube on August 2, 2013:
The video describes facts about the Kankakee County Sheriff's Office:
--The Kankakee County Sheriff's Office employs 58 full-time sworn deputies and 125 full-time corrections officers
--The Jerome Combs Detention Center houses nearly 500 inmate beds
--Every patrol officer is issued a take-home vehicle
--Each vehicle has an in-car credit card swipe and printer so officers can accept credit cards as bond for most citations
--Traffic unit vehicles have advanced license-plate recognition systems which record hundreds of vehicles each shift
