Kankakee County Flooding February 2018

Heavy rainfall from February 19-21, 2018 resulted in high waters on the Kankakee River.  During this time frame, St. Anne reported 5.73 inches of rain while areas in Indiana topped six inches.

Combined with snow melt and frozen ground, the water quickly ran to streams and drainage ditches on its path to the Kankakee.
